Biosketch
Angéline Wettig is doing her master of medicine at the University of Basel. She already completed her Master’s Thesis in Neuroimmunology - specifically Multiple Sclerosis - in the Pröbstellab. She wishes to become a Psychiatrist or Neurologist. She is also a member of the Swiss Study Foundation and likes to participate in a lot of extracurricular activities. She recently began her Doctor‘s Thesis about the excitation/inhibition balance in psychosis and autism spectrum disorder. She is doing further research on the computational framework of Bayesian inference and predictive-coding. She is really interested in the brain mechanisms underlying our perceptions and likes the multidisciplinarity of this research field associating neurosciences, psychology, computational sciences and so on. Later, Angéline intends to do research in the neurosciences in addition to clinical practice.
